Parents: Unknown. David was taken from an orphanage in Ontario when he was 12, and brought to a Consortium training facility for programming and education.
Education: Extremely well trained and educated in psychology, arms, chemistry, explosives, firearms, hand to hand combat, computers, language and tech.
Mentor: Portia DeMera took the boy in, under orders from the Consortium, in order to train him as an operative. Her methods of training were depraved, even by Consortium standards. Physical punishment was limited, most of the discipline was mental. David learned immediate obedience, a practiced and lab supported art, using drugs and other stimuli. Sexual gratification was forbidden, and to this day, Black has extreme difficulty in that area. Portia DeMera was found dead, shortly after the Consortium determined that they had no further use for Black.
Personality: Cold, distant and disassociated. He's exceptionally charming in his public persona, but few people are able to gain any access to his personal life. His closest friend is a con artist and thief in Los Angeles, named Lucy Diamond. Lucy rescued Black from a hitter who was trying to remove him under orders from Charles Spender. He's not violent in temper, but he is psychotic in his ruthless ability to kill and create mayhem. He kills on programmed order or for self protection. He does not kill out of rage. He doesn't kill for pleasure.
Lucy taught David how to steal and run scores. He's made a comfortable living doing so. He also commits crimes that are attributed to Krycek, as well as others who look like him. David Black is a non-person to many, only those with access to the deepest Consortium files would know that he exists.
He has been hired by The Director, to work out of her new Las Vegas office with her newest triad of agents. Unfortunately, one of those agents is well connected to Krycek, and it's Black's fear that one day his alter-ego would discover the man making trouble in his name around the world.

Notes: Subject is extremely dangerous. He is even more dangerous than the men he pretends to be, due to his lack of ties to others. He's able to avoid capture, because he essentially does not exist in records.
